I have just started reading tears in a bottle. It’s is easy to follow the stories with the Bible .
This wasn’t what I was expecting from a book on the Kingdom of God. All my life I’ve read the passages in the Bible: Jesus talked a lot about the Kingdom of God. I finally started asking myself, what did He really mean? This book is not a theological treatise--that I would half understand, if that! The author has written a novel showing how a young boy starts a social studies project about an unlikely kingdom that has no physical borders or armies, but does have subjects who are loyal to the King and walk according to His directions—and the life changing effect it has on him and his community. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to better understand The Kingdom.
